Bihar Flood Relief Updates

Bihar Floods - In search of shelter
Bihar floods - Fight for survival
Bihar Floods -Railway track washed away

Bihar continues to battles the scourge of flood which has swamped the entire region. Although the catastrophe has been declared as a natural calamity, still we need more support, donations and help from volunteers to come forward and rescue millions of people who need desperate help.

Families have been washed away, millions have been rendered homeless and even army is struggling to reach out to all the areas which are affected. We desperately need life jackets, boats and medicines to save lives. What you get to see on electronic media is just tip of the crisis, almost 2 lakhs people are missing and actual death toll is impossible to predict as the water level are still rising . Yesterday Nepal released 2.5 million cusecs of water, and water level has gone up by another three feet. At places the depth of water in farming areas where crops were standing 15 days ago is under 12-14 feet water and the current of water is comparative to ritcher 5 of earthquake intensity.

We are updating the flood relief blog on daily basis and please contribute towards the relief operations. This message needs to reach out to everyone as the situation on ground is getting worse and no one knows by what time everyone can be rescued.

Friends we are lucky till now, that we are on the safe place, but there is saying that “live for nothing but die with something”. Our some of the indians are major affected by the floods. We are human beings who have their responsibilities. We are living in dependent society where one need each other. So, we should help our indians who are having bad days these days i mean who are worst affected in flood areas. At least youth should do for them which is the greatest power in the world. Let’s join hands and help them…..
