Can Dr. Vijay Mallya help the princess?

I’m not sure how many of you watched CNN’s TalkAsia program hosted by Anjali Rao. Last week’s guest was Dr. Vijay Mallya MP. In the process of charming Ms Anjali Rao with his private jet, the Kingfisher villa in Goa and the patch of grass where his helicopter lands - the camera panned into the Arabian Sea. And there she stood - stuck for more than seven years on the coast - no one to help her - the River Princess.

River Princess Goa

Why Mallya? One, he claimed in the interview that his family is originally from Goa. Two, I’m sure he wakes up to seeing the River Princess every morning he is there. Three, he is an MP, I’m sure there is something he can do. Four, he has two super yachts named - Indian Empress and Indian Princess - surely he can help out the River Princess. Can’t he?

    Hi
The Goa bit, he may be right. He is a Konkani as far as I know and Google search says so.

And all Konkanis trace their roots back to Goa.

May be that is what he meant.

    Regards
    Nikhil
