Harry Potter (the Musical) in Chennai
While the Harry Potter mania is taking over India after every release of the book or movie series, here is a Potter musical from Landing Stage in Chennai. Landing Stage is a youth theatre group from Chennai.
The reason I ask all of you out there in Chennai (or those would be there in Chennai in those days) to go and watch this show is not only this sounds like a wonderful event but the team behind the musical is working towards a cause. The proceeds from the show goes toward the Madhuram Narayanan Centre for Exceptional Children. Please do pass on the message in the interest of charity and youth theatre.

SYNOPSIS
Harry Potter has just been informed that he is a wizard… and he is already a very famous wizard indeed! He now joins Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn about magic, and he’s delighted to leave his aunt and uncle who have never treated him well. But something very strange is happening at Hogwarts. A secret is being hidden and guarded on the third floor corridor, and someone is trying very hard to steal it. It’s up to Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, to figure out what’s happening. In the mean time, there’s also a lot of Quidditch, a lot of music, a lot of dance – and, of course, a lot of magic! So don’t miss the fun!
